Logan defeated his father, the former champion - Nathan Teodoro, at chess for the first time today. He proudly displays the king he captured after a long battle - lots of casualties. It was an epic struggle, back and forth, gaining and holding, then losing ground to the enemy. To the victor goes the spoils, so here is Logan's account:
"I told him how in chess club other opponents don't notice moves where I can get them sometimes. Then , dad gets me when I didn't notice it. So I slowly wore away his pieces and finally checkmate him."
